Heart Health and Recovery Walk
Take a leisurely walk with your family at the Port of Kimberling City Marina and Resort and enjoy the scenic views. The trail is paved and mostly level, great for wheelchairs and strollers. The trail is approximately one mile long. We encourage the participants to go around the trail twice or more if desired. However, participants are not obligated to walk more than a mile. If the participant decides not to walk, they can still visit the vendors and enjoy the rest of the activities.
The registration table will be at the Pavillion, and opens at 8.30am, however, a participant can come by at any time between 8.30am and 11.00am to register. The participant will collect a free swag bag and t-shirt and have a chance to grab a light snack and water for the journey. A FREE raffle ticket will be given to each participant as a way of saying Thank You for supporting the event.
There will be volunteers handing out waters along the trail and encouraging the participants as they walk! Dogs are allowed on the walking trail also.
Following the walk, participants will have a chance to check in with each of our vendors and obtain great information and resources.
We encourage participants to stay and enjoy free food and entertainment as we play Name That Tune for a chance to win some prizes.
There is also a small park for the children and a basketball court right next to the Pavillion.
